| Periodic Maintenance | |
|
Hot Tub should be drained and wiped down every 2 to 4 months depending on use. Days between draining = Gallons of water ÷ 3 ÷ average daily bather load. Filter cartridge should rinsed clean every 2 weeks ( or as needed ), and treated with Filter Pure at least once a month. Nature² unit should be replaced every 4 months. For cloudy water or odor, treat water with system running with 2-4 Tbsp. Chlor Blast per 300 gal water. Allow filter to run until tub clears or odor is gone. ( additional doses of Chlor Blast may be needed, maintain a 3-8ppm level until tub is clean ). During the warmer months, the cover should be taken apart and cleaned with Cover All and allowed to dry. This will help extend the life of the cover, and prevent musty odors. |
